After you confirm your appointment, they’ll email you a link to your telehealth meeting room. Just click on the link from your laptop, tablet, or phone to join the provider’s virtual space.
Once they’re ready, your session will begin, and you’ll see both yourself and the provider on screen. The video connection is secure, using a web-based service with SSL encryption for your privacy.
The provider will have already reviewed your initial paperwork and will work with you based on that information.
They’ll securely store session notes in our HIPAA-compliant medical record system, ensuring smooth continuity of care, whether you stick with them or see another provider.
If necessary, the provider can schedule a follow-up appointment during the video call. When the session ends, simply close the video interface.

Adika Counseling offers the following services:
- Diagnostic Assessment with a licensed provider: $210 for 60 minutes
- Individual, family, or couples therapy session with a licensed provider: $180 for 50 minutes
- Sliding Scale session with a Clinical Associate: $90 for 45 minutes
Insurance plans accepted include Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and CareFirst (Out of Network).
Internship Programs At Adika Counseling
Adika Counseling provides practicum and internship opportunities for Masters and Doctoral students in areas such as Clinical Professional Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Forensic Psychology, Clinical Social Work, and Counselor Training and Education.
Following the practicum, students undertake a 600-hour supervised counseling internship in relevant settings.
Throughout the internship, students receive one hour of individual or triadic supervision and 1½ hours of group supervision weekly.
Site supervisors must hold at least a master’s degree in counseling or a related field, have relevant certifications or licenses, possess two years of professional experience in the student’s specialty area, understand the program requirements, and have training in counseling supervision.
