About Central Kansas Mental Health Center

view of CKMHC

For 50 years, the CKMHC has assisted individuals primarily from the Saline, Dickinson, Ellsworth, Ottawa and Lincoln counties area.

CKMHC is important since it is beneficial for a life of care, education, and also support  for various age receivers.

To work within them is to create someone and the services they offer, Therapy, medication, crisis management, and developmental and community care a clear sign of their desire to help people learn and grow.

CKMHC believes everyone should be able to access mental health care and is able to pay for (their services). They accept multi-insurance plans and provide income-based financial assistance according to family size.

The easiest part of this service more is structuring its services so that if one is at home from work or school help is only a heel away.

CKMHC composts its own rubbish and for every dollar that it earns, it re-invests it in depression screenings and education for common mental illness in the community, employment support programs for sole traders.

With a team of over 150 compassionate professionals, they have made recovery, growth and improvement possible through family and community connections.

CKMHC — Mental Health Services

1. Therapy

The Central Kansas Mental Health Center offers caring therapeutic services to help individuals, families and couples as they experience the challenges of life.

In individual therapy, clients meet one-on-one with a licensed therapist to evaluate and address issues, from daily stressors to more long-term struggles (services are available for all ages).

Family therapy is about uniting loved ones, trying out new modalities of communication, navigating conflicts and discussing and managing challenging experiences in a way that feels right to them as a family.

Couples therapy provides partners with a safe place to prioritize dealing with relationship challenges and learning how to communicate more effectively.

Group therapy allows people with similar issues to come together and connect, share, and grow, all under the watchful eye of a licensed therapist in a safe setting.

2. Medication Management

While medication management is vital at Central Kansas Mental Health Center, not every patient needs to receive it, or at the same level.

Assuming prescription is a must, it is coordinated along with counselling and any other procedures that will help rush the effect of medication and steadily improve life conditions.

They have expert physicians who work in partnership with each client to find the correct medication that can become the foundation for that client’s fresh experience of daily living.

The centre also offers these clients telemedicine services if they would like to continue receiving medication management or psychiatric care via video secure calls.

Such options enable Safe & Accurate care delivery in rural settings without compromising the quality of in-person care.

5. Youth Services

The center is focused on children, adolescents and families facing mental health challenges. Because they deliver customised to children so that they can succeed at home, in school and in life.

Wraparound services do this for families, taking the people in a person’s life — the loved ones and professionals — and stitching them together into a shared plan for success; parent support gives caregivers advice and tools to help.

The SED Waiver program safeguards kids who are in danger of being hospitalized or removed from their families through extra care to keep them in the house.

It is programs like these that are here to help families and help get children on track to a healthier, happier version of themselves.

6. School Based Services

School-based services are available that help children and teens struggling with mental health issues. They partner with local schools to deliver them in the schools so that students can access the support where they are.

These services promote better attendance, work habits and grades, and improve overall well-being and communication between students, students’ families and school staff members.

The services available at the centre include individual and family therapy, case management, social-emotional skill-building groups and attendant care, as well as in schools.
