1. Danielle Matias

Danielle Matias, LMHC, LPC, is a Clinical Supervisor at Footprints Mental Health Counseling with over 10 years of experience in psychotherapy. 

She supports the therapists at Footprints in their clinical work and is committed to helping the community address and overcome mental health challenges. 

Danielle specializes in anxiety, depression, addiction, marriage and family issues, social injustice, sexual abuse, trauma, and working with the LGBTQ+ community. 

She uses a person-centered approach and ensures that every client feels accepted, valued, and cared for.

2. Michelle Fuentes

Michelle Fuentes, LCSW, is a committed psychotherapist who started her career after earning her social work degree from Lehman College. 

She is trained in EMDR and specializes in helping trauma survivors. 

Michelle enjoys working with Spanish-speaking clients and offers Christian counseling when requested or appropriate. 

She is also SIFI certified and supervises a team of MSW/LMSW therapists.

3. Lourdyes Alger

Lourdyes Alger, LMHC, MSED, has been a psychotherapist for over 8 years. She provides clinical support using Person-Centered approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness. 

Lourdyes has worked with both children and adults who have experienced emotional, physical, or sexual trauma, as well as those dealing with anxiety or depression. 

She helps her clients focus on reaching their goals and building their confidence.

4. Roosevelt Shaw

Roosevelt Shaw joined the Footprints team in January 2023 as the Human Resources Assistant. 

He manages the HR department, handling paperwork and reports related to staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, and performance evaluations. 

Roosevelt also addresses employee questions about HR issues, rules, and regulations, and he interviews potential interns and Licensed Practitioners (LPs).

5. Crystal- Irene Brito 

Crystal Irene Brito joined the Footprints team in March 2022 as part of the Intake Department and was promoted to Hiring Manager in June 2023.

Now serving as the Office Manager, she handles payroll for administrative staff, interns, LPs, and supervising therapists. 

Crystal also oversees the onboarding process, ensuring it’s smooth and that all employees align with Footprints’ mission and are allies of the LGBTQ+ community.

6. Alicia Henderson

Alicia Henderson joined the Footprints team in February 2023 as the Intake Coordinator. She collects patient information and creates their records. 

Working with a team of coordinators, Alicia ensures that every client gets the care they need.

7. Shante Hernandez

Shante Hernandez is dedicated to creating a positive and supportive workspace for herself and her colleagues.

As a compassionate listener and advocate, Shante ensures a smooth and confidential intake process. 

She is committed to providing a safe space that meets each client’s unique needs and is focused on guiding them toward the support and resources that enhance their well-being.

8. Andrew Quintana

Andrew Quintana joined Footprints in June 2023 as a Facilities Assistant and was later promoted to Facilities Supervisor. 

He is skilled at keeping the office running smoothly, handling maintenance, managing schedules, and supporting daily administrative tasks. 

Andrew is dedicated to maintaining an efficient and organized workplace. 

With strong communication skills and a talent for problem-solving, he plays a key role in ensuring the facilities operate effectively and helps contribute to the team’s success.

9. Albert Iglesias

Albert Iglesias joined the Footprints team in April 2021 as the Primary Medical Biller. He ensures that all claims and copayments are processed correctly. 

If there are any billing errors, Albert handles them to make sure everything runs smoothly and clients don’t face problems with their services. 

He is also available to assist clients with any billing concerns they might have.

10. Carl Jordan 

Carl Jordan is a Medical Billing Specialist. He makes sure that all claims and copayments are processed correctly.

11. Jennifer Betances

Jennifer Betances, LMHC, is a seasoned mental health counselor based in New York, bringing over three years of experience to her practice.

Footprints Mental Health Counseling offers three membership packages: 

The Silver Package is $160 monthly for weekly 60-minute sessions with an experienced intern, who a fully licensed clinician supervises. 

The Gold Package costs $320 per month for weekly 50-minute sessions with an experienced therapist who is either permitted or first-tier licensed and has been in the field for several years. 

The Diamond Package is $420 per month for weekly 50-minute sessions with a seasoned supervisor who has many years of experience and supervises other clinicians.
