Nurturing your mental health is an essential part of reclaiming your life. When mental health problems go unacknowledged, they can interfere with every aspect of your life — including your relationships, your work or schooling and your physical health.
Mental health centers can be a great place to start if you feel stuck or don’t know where else to turn. Such a resource is the HV Mental Health and Wellness Center.
They offer therapy for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and others. They utilize medication as part of treatment when appropriate in order to better tackle specific obstacles.
Another option that may be helpful is BetterHelp, which provides therapy in a more traditional format. BetterHelp also offers services for different needs — therapy for couples, LGBTQ+ issues, faith-based concerns, and more.
