The center, which serves Clarinda and has outposts in Bedford and Villisca, provides services for emergency, inpatient and outpatient care. 

Its reach includes residents of several counties, including Page, Montgomery, Taylor and Adams, and includes parts of northwest Missouri. CRHC is also a regional provider of emergency medical services.

CRHC is a self-sustaining entity and does not receive direct taxpayer funding from Clarinda. It is a Critical Access Hospital, which means that Medicare funds it on a cost basis for treating patients.

A nonprofit organization which supports CRHC’s mission is Partners in Exceptional Care (PEC), which is comprised of the Clarinda Regional Health Center Auxiliary and the Clarinda Medical Foundation.
