1. Crisis Services

The SED Waiver program provides additional support to keep children with complex needs at home rather than in the hospital.

4. Substance use disorder treatment

At Crawford County Mental Health Center They provide services to individuals with substance use disorders and those in need of statistics like residential programs using Social Detox, Intermediate Treatment, or Reintegration and outpatient therapies through routine outpatient therapy up to IOP (Intense Outpatient Programs).

Telehealth services are available for even more convenience. The centre is based on CBT, DBT, MAT, MI & other evidence-based treatments. If applicable they offer trained therapeutic tools, such as EMDR and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).

Support programs, such as the Women’s Renewal House, and interim housing—in which clients transition back into life by spending some time in a therapeutic environment before returning home—allow clients to reintegrate and return to their communities working towards their goals in direct alignment with their values.

5. Behavioral Justice Service

Behavioral Justice Services connects people with mental illness or addiction to treatment instead of jail whenever possible.

This includes restoration treatment for those found to be incompetent to stand trial because of mental illness or intellectual disability to restore competency to stand trial.

The centre also conducts Competency to Stand Trial evaluations for the insanity evaluation of individuals who do not qualify as competent.

This will not only be available in the Larned State Hospital, but locally starting in 2024.

6. Medication services & M.A.T.

There at Medication Services and Management for adults 5 and up, treating all psychiatric conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disease, schizophrenia and ADHD.

The centre also offers specialized medication management, including Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) and Medication Assisted Treatment programs (MAT) for substance use disorders.

ACT is for those with serious mental illness who need intensive care, and MAT uses medication in combination with therapy to treat addiction. MAT is individualized and clients will be referred through the Same Day Access Clinic, or their current clinician, to receive their treatment plan.

7. Peer Support services

Peer Support services for individuals with psychiatric or substance use disorders. These services match clients with trained Peer Support Specialists who have personal experience with mental illness or addiction, along with the prior achievement of successfully managing their recovery.

Part therapist, part educator and a little bit of an advocate, the specialists provide around two hours of coaching each week to help navigate the patients’ symptoms and in many cases help improve their recovery as well.

Sessions can be individual or in groups, telehealth or in-person visits, focusing on skill-building and recovery.
